Parking: Please park in the side parking lot closest to the Applied Technology Center. Parking Map
Team Area: Our team tent will be in the big band field. When you arrive, cross the covered sidewalk and head straight out into the field to find us.
Course: This is NOT the normal 5K course at Northwestern. Rudolph’s Revenge Course Map
Pay attention for runners! This is super important as the course does circle around the team tent area. The course will be well marked with lights, so you will know where to expect runners. Please do NOT cross in front of runners! Maps of both the course and facility are in the newsletter from earlier this week.
Lights/Atmosphere: There should be ample lighting because the course hugs the fields that are equipped with lights. Christmas lights will be added as well. There will be a glow station, where runners are invited to use glow-in-the-dark body paint and will each be given 2-3 glow sticks. Please don’t overdo it, so there will be enough to go around. In conjunction with the glow station, there will also be a black-light photo booth for those who love memories. Coach Ardis from Northwestern requests that if you share photos on social media use the hashtag #RudolphsRevenge5k on Instagram and tag our announcer, Bobby Urban and himself. @chrisardis and @urban_announcing.
Decorations: Northwestern has borrowed Christmas lights and inflatables from their team. Please be respectful of all decorations, so they can be returned in the same condition they were received.
T-shirts: They are selling t-shirts and will have a few on site, but runners can buy shirts online at the following link: https://nwxcrace26.itemorder.com/shop/home/
Misc: Bring plenty of water and also some snacks for after your race.
Vendors: The Charlotte Running Company, Carolina Sports Clinic, and Shave Crave.
