The meet host has provided a great map of the parking situation and it seems like it should be fairly straightforward. Unfortunately, the school is so new most maps don’t have a lot of detail.
There are restrooms available. Team Tents will be located outside the track around a circle beside the baseball field. Viewing should be excellent from the bleachers in the track area.
There will be t-shirts for sale and several food trucks on site. Urban Announcing will also be there to keep things fun.
Tickets are required for spectators ($8): Victory Bolt Tickets
Course: The meet host sent some pretty detailed course information along with this map. The race will consist of two loops, with the first loop larger than the second. Athletes will begin on the turf field before heading directly onto the course. They will exit the track-and-field complex onto a mix of grass, dirt, and wood chips for the primary loop, which they will cover twice. Runners will return through the track area just before the one-mile mark, giving spectators a great view of the race.
From there, athletes will head back out onto another campus segment before returning to the original loop. On their final entry to the track, runners will stay in the outer four lanes for approximately 300 meters before merging into the inside lanes. The final 700 meters will take place on the track, allowing families to watch the finish and enjoy fireworks as the first varsity runner crosses the line.
There will be hills, varied terrain, and a genuine challenge worthy of our sport.
Awards:
Top 25 varsity finishers will receive a special Victory Bolt T-shirt. Top 15 JV finishers will receive a general meet T-shirt. The top three varsity individuals will receive special “Victory Bolts.”
Every runner will receive a Victory Bolt bracelet!
